How Interpretation Equipment Works
In a usual workshop (conference) setting, the interpreter listens to the speaker and interprets him into the mike
connected to the transmitter he has. The transmitter sends the interpretation to participants' receivers set to the
same channel. The participants listen to the interpretation using their receivers and earphones.
With our single-channel equipment your client uses the receiver and earphone plugged into the receiver when he
needs to listen to interpretation. If participants understand the speaker's language, they simply remove the earphone
or turn down the receiver volume.
For the system to work, you need one transmitter, one interpreter's headset with mike and any number of receivers
(depending on the number of participants). You can start with a smaller system (1 transmitter, 10 receivers) and add
receivers later as your needs grow.
The system is easy to carry. We offer an elegant carry case in which you can carry the entire system for a
group of up to 22 participants.
This is what your system will look like packed neatly into the carry case.
